The Queensland Battery Booster rebate has closed, and the state has not announced a replacement. For batteries, the federal Cheaper Home Batteries discount is the incentive available in Queensland today.

The federal discount applies in every Queensland postcode, with no income test. Its value depends on your battery's usable capacity and the date the installation is signed off by the electrician. Work out your figure with the battery rebate calculator.
If a salesperson mentions the Battery Booster as if it were still open, treat the whole quote with caution.
Solar for rental properties
Queensland's Supercharged Solar for Renters program offers landlords a rebate of up to $3,500 towards installing solar on a rental property. It opened on 12 December 2025. Check the Queensland Government page for the current eligibility rules and whether places remain.
