SolarAnswers gives general information and introduces you to installers. Your contract, if you sign one, is with the installer.

General information, not advice
Our guides and calculators are general information. They do not take your personal or financial situation into account and are not financial advice. Calculator results are estimates from averages and published rates, not quotes. Check figures with your installer and your electricity retailer before you decide.
Rebates and programs change
We check rebate and program details against government sources and show the date on each page. Programs can change or close without notice, and eligibility is decided by the program, not by us. Confirm eligibility with the program and your installer.
Quote requests
When you ask for quotes, we pass your request to up to three installers. Installers are independent businesses. They set their own prices and terms, and any contract you sign is between you and the installer. We are not a party to it and are not responsible for the installer's work, products or advice.
Your consumer rights
Nothing in these terms limits your rights under the Australian Consumer Law, including guarantees that apply to goods and services you buy from an installer.
Using the site
Please do not submit false requests, other people's details without their permission, or automated submissions. We may block requests that look like spam or abuse.

We link to government and industry sites so you can check our figures. We are not responsible for the content of those sites.
