SolaX TSYS-HS51

The TSYS-HS51 stacks 5.1 kWh LFP modules on a TBMS battery management unit, from two modules (T-HS10.2) to thirteen (T-HS66.5) across two towers. SolaX lists usable energy at 90% depth of discharge, so the T-HS10.2 gives 9.1 kWh usable from 10.2 kWh nominal, although the datasheet notes depth of discharge can be set up to 100% depending on the inverter.

Power grows with the stack, from 6.1 kW rated and 7.2 kW maximum for the T-HS10.2 to 39.9 kW rated for the largest size, within the paired inverter's own limit. The T-HS10.2 and T-HS15.3 (13.7 kWh) sit under the 14 kWh point where the federal discount rate drops, and the T-HS20.4 and larger go past it.

The Australian warranty covers 10 years with 70% energy retention, a 6,000-cycle limit for daily self-consumption and backup, and throughput caps for other uses. One full cycle a day would take about 16 years to reach 6,000 cycles, so at that rate the 10-year term ends first. Without its heating function it will not charge below 0 C; with heating on, charging and discharging extend to -30 C.
