Anker SOLIX X1

Anker SOLIX X1 is a modular system: a power module that holds the hybrid inverter, with 5 kWh X1-B5-H battery modules stacked in one or two columns, from one module (5 kWh) to six (30 kWh). Anker's Australian single-phase flyer lists 5 kW and 6 kW power modules, with off-grid output at the same rating, 10 kVA for 10 seconds and a switch time under 10 ms.

Each battery module is rated at 3 kW of charge and discharge power. The flyer gives 5 kWh per module as its initial design capacity but no usable figure, and usable capacity is what the federal discount counts, so check the usable kWh on your quote. Two modules make 10 kWh, under the 14 kWh point where the discount rate drops, and three make 15 kWh.

The Australian warranty covers 10 years with at least 70% of initial capacity, or 14 MWh of discharge throughput per module, whichever comes first. One full 5 kWh cycle a day would reach 14 MWh in under eight years, so heavy daily use could end cover before the 10 years are up. The modules are rated IP66 for -20 to 55 C.
