Growatt APX HV Battery

The APX is a high-voltage stack of 5 kWh modules on a power module, sold in two versions: the S0 for Growatt's single-phase MIN XH inverters and the S2 for its three-phase MOD and MID inverters. Both take one to six modules, for 5 to 30 kWh.

Power depends on the version and the stack size. One module gives 2.5 kW, with 4 kW for 60 seconds. On the single-phase S0 the power module caps charge and discharge at 6.2 kW from three modules up, while on the three-phase S2 power rises by 2.5 kW per module to 15 kW with six. The inverter can set a lower limit again.

The AU datasheets list 5 kWh per module at 100% depth of discharge but do not print a separate usable figure, and usable capacity is what the federal discount counts, so check the usable kWh on your quote. Two modules make 10 kWh, under the 14 kWh point where the discount rate drops, and three make 15 kWh. The warranty is 10 years, and the operating range is -10 to 50 C.
