Fronius Reserva

The Reserva is Fronius's own high-voltage battery for its GEN24 Plus and Verto Plus hybrid inverters, built from 3.15 kWh modules in towers of two to five. Usable capacity runs from 6.31 kWh for the Reserva 6.3 to 15.79 kWh for the Reserva 15.8, at 94.5% depth of discharge, and maximum charge and discharge power rises with the tower, from 6.55 kW to 16.38 kW.

The 6.3, 9.5 and 12.6 sit under the 14 kWh point where the federal discount rate drops, and the 15.8 goes 1.79 kWh past it. Up to four towers can run in parallel, but the datasheet caps total current at 32 A, so extra towers add storage without adding power beyond the 15.8's 16.38 kW.

The Australian warranty covers 10 years with 70% state of health, or a throughput limit that scales with size, whichever comes first. At one full cycle a day the limit arrives in about eight and a half years for every size. The warranty period starts six months after Fronius first delivers the battery, not on your install date, and backup needs the Fronius Backup Controller.
