Our read of the datasheet

The ESA power module is GoodWe's 5 kW single-phase hybrid in its all-in-one ESA system. It accepts 10 kW of PV, 200% of the AC rating, across two MPPTs rated for 20 A each, which suits current high-power panels and a two-face roof.

Backup is well specified on the datasheet: a 63 A internal bypass is designed for whole-home backup without a separate gateway, with switchover under 4 ms. Battery-powered backup output is 5 kVA, or 10 kVA for 10 seconds.

The power module is sold as part of the ESA system with GoodWe's stackable 5 kWh and 8 kWh battery modules, so plan for a GoodWe battery from the start. Maximum efficiency is 97.6%. The AU datasheet does not state a warranty term, so check GoodWe's warranty document before you buy.
