Our read of the datasheet

The EP760 is a 7.6 kW single-phase hybrid, a step up from the common 5 kW size, and its backup output is also rated at 7.6 kW with a switchover time under 10 ms. It is designed around BLUETTI's B500 packs, and the Australian datasheet shows configurations from two packs (9.9 kWh) to eight (39.68 kWh).

BLUETTI recommends up to 15.2 kWp of panels, but total PV input is limited to 9 kW, or 3 kW per MPPT. A large array will therefore be clipped when the sun is strong, and each MPPT suits a fairly small string. Three MPPTs do help on roofs with several faces.

Peak PV inversion efficiency is 96.0%, at the lower end of the inverters reviewed here. The unit weighs 46 kg, carries a 10-year warranty, and the datasheet also describes AC coupling for homes that already have solar.

We have not tested this inverter. This summary follows from the manufacturer's published specifications, checked 23 September 2026.
