Our read of the datasheet

The HM6 is a 6 kW single-phase hybrid. Its 8 kW maximum PV input gives about 133% oversizing headroom, less than several hybrids in this guide that accept 150% to 200%. Two MPPTs cover a roof split across two faces, but each is rated for 15 A, close to the 14 A to 15 A operating current of some newer panels.

It pairs with a 51.2 V low-voltage lithium battery, charging at up to 100 A and discharging at up to 120 A. The load port is rated at 6 kW with a switching time of 20 ms or less and an overload rating of 120% for 30 seconds.

The unit is floor mounted, weighs 36.4 kg and is rated IP66, with a maximum efficiency of 97.8%. ESY states a warranty of 120 months (10 years).

We have not tested this inverter. This summary follows from the manufacturer's published specifications, checked 23 September 2026.
